At the Downtown Veterinarian, we are always trying to help pets find new homes.

Morticia

Gomez is the true Renaissance man. Quietly confident and strong, he is also warm and sensitive. He is equally content lounging away the day on a soft couch under a sun beam as he is chasing a laser light through the house. He is a 2-year-old long-haired boy.

Morticia

Morticia is a gorgeous and adventurous 2 ½ -year-old short-haired girl that will soon capture your heart. She is confident and makes friends immediately. She likes to curl up on your lap and watch romantic comedies. At times, Morticia is very athletic and active, but also enjoys sleeping in late on Sundays.

Dino

Looking for a loving home... Meet Dino, a black and white 3 year old male neutered Boxer/Pitbull mix. He was found running loose on the downtown streets, and his previous owner was unable to take care of him anymore. He has been fine with other dogs while here at the hospital, and just needs a family with patience and love. He is house-broken, and is just learning to walk on a leash. But, he is eager to improve and learn good habits!

If you are interested in considering Dino for a new forever home, please stop by for a 'meet and greet'. He is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations, heartworm and stool sample testing. He is currently on heartworm and flea preventative, and is microchipped as well.

Please give him a chance and he will quickly find a place in your heart!

Mother

Children

We recently acquired a mother cat and her two kittens that need homes. Mom is a beautiful shorthair marble tabby about 2-3 years old. The kittens, 2 girls, are about 8 weeks of age. They are very friendly and playful.

Kitty

Isabella is a sleek and slinky 6 month old female kitten. She will be spayed on June 17. She is FELV/FIV negative, and has started her vaccines. This elegant beauty is very friendly, and will make a great addition to a loving home.

Kitty

This adorable girl was found by staff behind the clinic abandoned in a kennel! She is currently looking for her fur-ever home! She is about 10 years old! She absolutely loves attention! She has been Leukemia/FIV tested and is negative. She has also completed both round of vaccines and is ready for adoption!

Kitty

This sweet little kitten is looking for a forever home. She is 8 weeks old, and feline leukemia negative. She is missing her tail, but it just makes her cuter! She is a real people loving cat, and loves to play with toys and chase a ball around.

Smokin' Joe

This sweet little boy is looking for his forever home! He is about 6 weeks old and was found by some very nice people alone in their basement. He has personality to boot and is very into playing with toys and exploring. He is a little clown and absolutely loves attention, and will fall asleep on your lap. His adoption fee will include all of his kitten vaccines, his neuter, and his microchip. Do you have room in your home and your heart for this little fluff ball? Once you meet him, his big blue eyes will melt your heart. Stop by the clinic to meet this sweet boy.

Smokin' Joe

Gypsy
Meet Gypsy. She is 7 months old, and was found dirty, hungry, and cold near Woodruff Place. She has been vaccinated, tested negative for Felv/FIV, and will be spayed and microchipped. She is very cuddly and would love to find a home where she could snuggle with someone.

Smokin' Joe

Smokin' Joe
Meet Smokin' Joe! Smokin' Joe was found as a stray. He is just shy of 1 year in age and is long haired, has been vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He is figuring out that people are ok, and is starting to enjoy the life of luxury over life on the street. He is ready to go to his forever home with someone who will help him to continue learning about the good life.

Lula

Lula
This 1 1/2 year old female dog was found by one of our employees on the porch of an abandoned house. She is a little thin, but is eating well and putting on weight. She is now spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated. Ready for her forever home. She is very friendly with people and likes to be loved.

Ladybug

Ladybug
This little girl has spunk! She is about 6 weeks old now, and looking for an active home! She was found in a wood pile abandoned by her mother at 3 weeks of age. She likes to play and in the middle of the action. She is ready to go home at any time.

Tucker

Tucker
I am Tucker, and I am waiting for my forever family to come adopt me. I am a 7-month-old male shepherd mix. When I was found, I had been roaming the downtown streets alone. Luckily, I followed a staff member of the hospital to her home, and, now, here I am! I have been examined, neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. I am in great health, but I am now ready to get on with my life. Are you my new best friend?

Sugar

Sugar
My name is Sugar, and I am a 7-month old Siamese-cross kitten. I was found living outside all alone in a field. A kind-hearted friend brought me to the hospital where I have been thoroughly examined, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. I am now ready to join my new family. Is it you?

Jelly

Jelly
Jelly is a 1-year-old female tortoise shell cat that was rescued by one of our staff members living on the downtown streets. She is now spayed, feline leukemia and feline AIDS tested, vaccinated, clear of intestinal parasites and in great health. She has an amazingly warm personality and is still very frisky and playful. She is ready for adoption into a loving family. Come meet Jelly, and you will not be able to leave without her.

olyvia

Olivia
Olivia is a 1 1/2 year-old spayed female Pitbull terrier. She is incredibly sweet and well-mannered and yearns to be loved by everyone she meets. Olivia has been with us for several months now, but she is ready for her forever home. She is current on all her vaccinations, heartworm tested, clear of intestinal parasites, and in excellent health. Open your heart and home to Olivia, and you will find a new best friend.

Tito
This sweet boy is looking for a forever home. He was rescued while running loose near busy downtown streets. He is approximately one year of age, and is in great health. Tito has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, dewormed, and implanted with a microchip.

He is a ball of energy, but has an extremely kind disposition. He gets along well with other dogs, as well as with everyone he has been in contact with here at the hospital. Tito would warm your home as well as your hearts. We welcome you to come to the hospital and meet our new friend!

Curly Sue
As soon as you greet this very special girl, you will be smitten by her. Curly is a middle-aged (approximately seven years of age) medium-haired black (with white markings) female cat. She was found in horrible condition living outdoors in the country, clearly abandoned by her previous owners.

She was already spayed and front declawed when she was rescued. After 3 months of rehabilitation and loving care by a member of our staff, Curly Sue is now a vibrant and healthy girl that will add joy to anyone’s home. She is feline leukemia and feline AIDS tested (negative), vaccinated, dewormed, and implanted with a microchip. There is only one remaining need for Curly….you! Come see this special little girl today!

Chrissy is a stray kitten that was rescued along with her brother, sister and mother recently. She is about 15 weeks old, and has an exceptionally sweet personality. The rest of her family has now been adopted, but Chrissy is still waiting for that loving family that will open up their homes and hearts to her. She has been vaccinated, dewormed, and feline leukemia/feline AIDS tested. She eagerly awaits her new family!
