The Downtown Veterinarian endeavors to promote the highest standard of companion animal health care for people who view their pets as extensions of their family. Devotion to providing a medical environment with compassion, technology and education as our goal has placed this hospital above the rest.
We are proud to announce that we were just named as a 'Super Service Award' winner from Angie's List for the 15th consecutive year. This designation is given only to the very top service providers in their respective fields. Thank you to all of our valued clients for their support these many years.
**Change of Saturday hospital hours
Effective October 1st, our hospital will be open every other Saturday from 8:00am-1:00pm. This new schedule will allow our medical staff some well-deserved rest and provide time at home with their families. These past 18 months have been a very challenging and difficult time for all of us, and we know for you as well, and we genuinely appreciate your support during this unprecedented period.

Covid-19 Update For Our Hospital
Dear Downtown Veterinarian Family,
As of Monday April 18th, 2022 we will be opening up our doors to allow clients to come inside with their pets for all appointments. We are asking if you are not vaccinated to please continue to wear a mask inside our office. We will still be offering curbside appointments to those clients who would prefer this option.
We can't wait to see everyone again!
Meet Gomez and Morticia-adorable and loving fur babies looking for their forever homes.
Morticia is a gorgeous and adventurous 2 ½ -year-old short-haired girl that will soon capture your heart. She is confident and makes friends immediately. She likes to curl up on your lap and watch romantic comedies. At times, Morticia is very athletic and active, but also enjoys sleeping in late on Sundays.
Gomez is the true Renaissance man. Quietly confident and strong, he is also warm and sensitive. He is equally content lounging away the day on a soft couch under a sun beam as he is chasing a laser light through the house. He is a 2-year-old long-haired boy.
Both pets have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested negative for both feline leukemia as well as feline AIDS, received full series of vaccinations, screened negative for intestinal parasites, and had flea preventative applied.
These sweethearts were left with us by someone who could no longer care for them. During their time with us here at the hospital these past few months, they have both blossomed in personality. After observing them together as well as apart, it is clear that they would both be most content being adopted into separate homes. These precious cats would need to stay indoors exclusively and would prefer to be in one-pet households.
If you or someone you know has room in your heart and home for a new best friend, please contact our front office staff for additional information.
